Who We Are
The Executive Education Center of the University of Limassol (successor to the Cyprus International Institute of Management, CIIM), provides a dynamic learning and scientifically inspired environment in which participants receive a transformational learning experience.
We work alongside our enrolled executives and practitioners to help them further develop their skills and knowledge so they can make more effective contributions to their organisation. From professionals looking to gain new qualifications to companies seeking in-house training or consulting, we provide custom-designed courses, exceptional trainers, as well as one-to-one support.
Our non-degree and continuous professional development and qualification programmes are led by subject matter experts from the international and local faculty of the University of Limassol. We provide business professionals with targeted short durationprogrammes that can help them advance their career and development goals. Both organizations and individuals must be aware of the latest best practices if they are to meet today’s challenges. There can be no place for complacent managerial cultures.
The EEC is part of the exciting feat of the evolution of CIIM into the University of Limassol, and in this capacity continues to provide its high quality training and consulting services to executives and practitioners.
Our inspiration is Archimedes who said: «Δῶς μοι πᾶ στῶ καὶ τὰν γᾶν κινάσω!» (“Give me a lever and a place to stand and I will move the earth”). This is reflected on our logo, which symbolises our deep roots, but also our flexibility, our practical skills and our vision for the future.

Our History
The Cyprus International Institute of Management, known as CIIM, is the predecessor to the University of Limassol (UoL). CIIM was a completely different educational institution. It was the only one in Cyprus and one of a few in the world, which wentbeyond education and training to the transformation of the individual’s distinct personality with unlimited customisation features and recognition in an ever-changing and highly competitive environment.
Since its establishment in 1990, CIIM’s educational programs of international status were adapting to the rapid market changes and are based on quality, efficiency and relevance to the most up-to-date problems of the society and the economy.
The CIIM Executive Education arm of the Business School, which is the department that preceded the Executive Education Center (EEC) of today, has developed a wide range of programmes and solutions to meet the development needs of all staff, from operational level to chief executive. Fully aligned with delivering CIIM’s mission “To create a learning environment that brings together innovative ideas and practices from around the world”. CIIM’s programs focused on equipping participants with key competencies in many areas including management, entrepreneurship, leadership, strategy, innovation, finance, marketing and operations.
The UoL EEC builds on these strong foundations and evolves into the future. Our motto: “Delivering academic wisdom in actionable seminars.”
